These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Encora Life mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Services”), operated by MattrixCreative, a registered trade name (DBA) (“Encora Life,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
Encora Life is a Christian faith and encouragement service designed to support engagement with Scripture, prayer, encouragement, testimonies, and Christian community. Features may include Daily Verse, prayer requests, Prayer Circles, verse sharing, testimonies, reactions, and notifications.
Encora Life is not intended to replace a church, pastor, qualified counselor, physician, mental-health professional, attorney, emergency service, or other professional service.
You must be legally permitted to use the Services in your jurisdiction. The Services are not directed to children under 13. If you are under the age at which you may independently consent to online services where you live, you may use Encora Life only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian as required by applicable law.
You are responsible for providing accurate account information, maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials, and activity occurring through your account. Notify us promptly at encoralife@gmail.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
The Services may allow you to submit, share, send, or display content such as prayer requests, Prayer Circle messages or requests, testimonies, stories of faith, reactions, and other text or community content (“User Content”).
You retain ownership of User Content you create. By submitting User Content through Encora Life, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, transmit, display, and otherwise process that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, provide, secure, moderate, and improve the Services and to make the content available to the audience you selected.
You are responsible for your User Content and for ensuring that you have the rights and permissions necessary to submit it. Do not disclose another person’s private or sensitive information without an appropriate basis to do so.
Encora Life is intended to be a respectful Christian community. You may not use the Services to post, transmit, encourage, or engage in:
Any activity that violates applicable law or these Terms.
We have no tolerance for abusive users or objectionable content that violates these Terms. We may review reports, remove or restrict content, limit features, suspend accounts, or terminate accounts when reasonably necessary to protect users, enforce these Terms, or comply with law.
Where provided by the app, users may report content or users and may use available blocking or community-safety controls. Reports may be reviewed for violations of these Terms or applicable community standards. You may also contact encoralife@gmail.com with safety or abuse concerns.
We may take action based on the nature, severity, context, and history of reported conduct. We do not guarantee that every disagreement or objection will result in removal of content or an account.
Prayer and testimony content may discuss health, mental health, grief, relationships, finances, or other serious personal circumstances. Information or encouragement provided through Encora Life is for faith and community purposes and is not professional advice, diagnosis, treatment, counseling, or emergency assistance.
Do not rely on Encora Life for urgent or emergency help. If you believe you or another person is in immediate danger, may harm themselves or someone else, or needs urgent medical or mental-health assistance, contact local emergency services or an appropriate crisis or healthcare resource in your location.
Encora Life may present Scripture passages, references, devotional or contextual material, and other faith-based content. Bible translations and third-party materials may be subject to their respective copyright, public-domain status, attribution requirements, or licenses. Rights in third-party materials remain with their respective owners.
Encora Life may correct, update, replace, or revise Scripture presentation, translations, references, contextual material, or other content when necessary for accuracy, licensing, readability, or operation of the Services.
If you enable notifications, Encora Life may send Daily Verse reminders, prayer activity, Prayer Circle updates, verse encouragement, and other service-related notifications according to your settings. Notification delivery is not guaranteed and may depend on your device, operating system, network, and third-party notification services.
You may initiate deletion of your Encora Life account using the account-deletion functionality provided in the app. Deletion is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Services if we reasonably believe an account violates these Terms, creates risk or harm, abuses the Services, or must be restricted to comply with law. Where appropriate, we may remove User Content associated with violations.
Except for User Content and third-party materials, the Services—including the Encora Life name, original designs, software, graphics, interfaces, logos, and original content—are owned by or licensed to MattrixCreative and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
These Terms give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Services for their intended purpose. They do not transfer ownership of the Services or our intellectual property to you.
Encora Life may rely on or interact with third-party platforms and service providers, including app stores, cloud infrastructure, authentication systems, notification services, and Scripture or content providers. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control, and your use of those services may be governed by separate terms and policies.
We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features, content, or portions of the Services. We aim to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee that the Services will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device or network.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES THAT ARE NOT EXPRESSLY REQUIRED BY LAW, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not guarantee a particular spiritual, personal, medical, emotional, financial, or other outcome from using Encora Life. Prayer requests, testimonies, and other User Content express the views or experiences of the users who submit them and do not necessarily represent the views of MattrixCreative.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MATTRIXCREATIVE AND ITS SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Services, your User Content, or your material violation of these Terms or another person’s rights. This provision does not apply to the extent a claim results from our own unlawful conduct or where applicable law does not permit such an obligation.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except to the extent the laws of your jurisdiction require otherwise. Nothing in these Terms deprives you of mandatory consumer protections that apply to you under applicable law.
We may update these Terms as Encora Life evolves. We will post the revised Terms with an updated effective date and provide additional notice when required. Continued use of the Services after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the extent permitted by law. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms presented for a specific feature, form the agreement governing your use of the Services.
